The Kidde Dual Spectrum Transportable Fire Extinguisher Repair and Refill Station allows users a new option in service and minor repair of Kidde fire extinguishers, improving the logistics inherent to remote locations.
The Kidde Dual Spectrum Transportable Fire Extinguisher Repair / Refill Station combines general maintenance and fleet support functions into a single unit serving the dual purpose of extinguisher refill and minor repair as well as allowing a greater level of onsite control over vehicle readiness. It allows users the ability to repair and refill extinguishers on site versus extended logistics involved in shipping distances and factory lead times. This simplified approach reduces delay, vehicle down time and overall costs while improving readiness and efficiency.
The facility is capable of refill and/or repair of 25 extinguishers per shift in standard configurations (one technician). It is fully conditioned allowing heating and cooling as needed, fully lighted and secure with locking doors and a window.
Designed with the user in mind, it has work and tool space, refill machinery, air compressor, storage and a separate section to store gaseous agents (not included).
